Lori Starn, ND was born and raised in Pataskala, Ohio. She learned to appreciate nature as a child by spending her time outdoors, an interest fostered by her parents’ backgrounds in biology and gardening. Her college education began at Capital University and Ohio State University with majors in Biology and Psychology. It was during her time at Ohio State that her interest in natural health and nutrition grew, and her passion for Naturopathic Medicine was born. She moved to Seattle, Washington to attend Bastyr University, one of the four accredited Naturopathic Medicine programs in the United States. There she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in nutrition in 2001 and her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Degree in 2006. Her naturopathic training included additional study in homeopathy as well as clinical rotations and preceptorships in homeopathy, pediatrics, and general family practice.
After graduation and board certification, Lori Starn, ND returned to Central Ohio for one year of post-graduate residency training. She opened her private practice, Naturopathic Pathways, LLC, in Pataskala in 2008. In the summer of 2010, she moved her practice to Gahanna because she and Dr. Lewis share similar philosophies of health and wellness.
Lori’s philosophy of care is to evaluate all aspects of a person’s health – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual – so that treatment is individualized to the person, rather than the disease or condition. Her intent is to meet her patients where they are, really listen to their needs, and help them achieve their best health possible. Lori Starn, ND sees patients of all ages with a wide variety of health concerns. She also specializes in homeopathy and gastrointestinal problems.
